Are you Experiencing Please Wait Message on Aero-Sharp Inverter?
[contact-form-7]
While providing solutions to inverter issues, we happen to come across one on an Aero-Sharp Inverter where the screen is showing a ‘Please Wait’ message. Along with this message, it shows that the Power light is on but the Run and Fault lights are off.
This means that the inverter is not detecting any power from the electricity grid from the switchboard and may have an internal system issue. For an Aero-Sharp Inverter to be working, the Power and Run lights both need to be on. If this is not what you’re seeing, then something needs to be done ASAP.
What to do about a Please Wait Message on Aero-Sharp Inverter?
First, check if everything is on. Check if the AC Isolator or Solar Supply Main Switch and the PV Array DC Isolator are on. If you have done this and you’re still getting this issue, the inverter needs to be fixed or repaired by a solar accredited electrician.
If the inverter is installed within the last 5 years, it should be covered by warranty. Unfortunately, Aero-Sharp Electric is out of business so the warranty is null and void. Additionally, having it repaired will most likely cost you $500 and still have an inferior-quality unit.
If you are encountering this issue and the result is the same, it’s best to replace it with a good quality inverter that’s going to give you a full warranty. The size can be found on the side of the inverter so you know the correct size to replace your inverter with.
