Are you experiencing Fault Light on AeroSharp Inverter?
[contact-form-7]
Here at Gold Coast Power Solutions, we encounter issues on Aero-Sharp Inverter where its Fault light is lit. With this trouble, the Power and Fault lights are lit in green but there’s none in the Run LED light.
If working properly, the Power and Run lights should be lit. If one of these is not lit, the inverter is not working and needs to be checked immediately.
What to do about a Fault Light on AeroSharp Inverter Issue?
The first thing you do is to reboot the system using the proper shutdown procedure below.
- Turn off the SOLAR SUPPLY MAIN SWITCH or Inverter AC Isolator (if installed).
- Turn off the PV Array DC Isolator located at the inverter.
- Wait for approximately 1 minute.
- Turn on the SOLAR SUPPLY MAIN SWITCH or AC Isolator (if installed).
- Turn on the PV ARRAY DC Isolator.
- Wait a few minutes for the inverter to restart.
- Check to see if the error has cleared.
If the same result comes up, the inverter needs to be fixed or repaired by a solar accredited electrician.
Unfortunately, since Aero-Sharp Electric is not around anymore, the inverter will no longer be covered by warranty. Additionally, having it repaired will most likely cost you $500.
If you are encountering this issue and the result is the same, it may be best to bite the bullet, pay a bit more and replace it with a good quality inverter that’s going to give you a full warranty. The size can be found on the side of the inverter so you know the correct size to replace your inverter with.
