When we check JFY solar inverters, one of the issues we have handled here at Gold Coast Power Solutions is when it is showing the ‘No Grid’ error message on its screen.
This means that it is not taking any power from the string or from the switchboard. Aside from the ‘No Grid’ message, the red Alarm light is lit. This is quite normal if there’s a blackout or power failure. But if the sun is up and this happens something has to be done ASAP.
What can you do when your JFY Solar Inverter No Grid issue?
Check if the switch control and inverter are turned on by making sure that the Inverter AC Isolator or main switch are on.
If the inverter is still showing the same result, you can contact a solar accredited electrician so they can check to see if the inverter is getting enough power from the electricity grid or switchboard into the inverter. If it’s a problem with the internal inverter then it will be covered under warranty or replace it if it’s outside the 5-year warranty.
